Having claimed the 16 Boys State Cup, Southern Districts Football Association side Sydney Juniors coach Neno Padjen can be sure to expect elite PlayStation 4 National Premier League clubs to come knocking as he continues to develop his players into becoming future stars of the game.
Padjen’s Sydney Juniors outfit clinched the title last Sunday with a tense 1-0 victory over Connells Point Rovers at Valentine Sports Park.
Padjen says he was pleased with the way his side handled the challenge that they were faced with.
“It was a good end-to-end game. It was a lot tougher compared to the other games that we played [in the Football NSW State Cup] so it was definitely a clash of two top teams.â€
After taking a half-time lead, Padjen implored his side to stay focused on the style of game they wanted to play.
“As I do with all our matches, I make sure that the team play their game. I don’t like to play this defensive game after you’re up one-nil. We play our game, so we still attack as we have to and the boys followed that plan.
