It is Round 15 in the PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s competition and the battle for finals spots is tighter than ever.
Only goal difference can split league leaders APIA Leichhardt Tigers and Blacktown City FC with both sides in incredible form.
The remaining three finals spots are very much up for grabs with five teams still very much in with a shot of qualifying for the postseason.
This week’s Match of the Round features Rockdale City Suns playing host to Hakoah Sydney City East at Ilinden Sports Centre on Sunday.
Sutherland Sharks v Sydney United 58 FC, 6.30pm Saturday at Seymour Shaw
Sutherland Sharks will be hoping to spring an upset when they host Sydney United 58 on Saturday.
The Grant Lee coached side has shown glimpses of what they are capable of since the former Sydney Olympic manager took over the squad.
However, results have failed to materialise for the Sharks and they remain rooted to the bottom third of the table.
Against Sydney United 58 they will need to take advantage of their strengths, striker Nathan Elasi and midfielder Tomohiro Kajiyama.
United 58 ended a three game run without a win last week and will be out to make it two from two.
With the return of striker Chris Payne, Sydney United 58 have become a more well rounded team.
Sutherland will have their hands full but with the right performance have what it takes to snatch three points
